However, this is not an overtly political blog and it will include all sorts of observations articulated during my time here. Simple observations, recordings, thoughts; while also including links where possible to published material in more traditional mediums. I am here for a variety of reasons that I just won’t get into but suffice to say I like conflict and the scramble to defuse it. I even like it when the fuse has been burnt out and the ordinance exploded so long ago but we still madly sweep the ashes into something we can grab hold of so we can call it peace. Sometimes I will write officially, other times emotionally but it will always be relevant to the situation.
I haven’t taken a side in this Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I observe. Some people agree with that, some don’t. This is not an activist’s blog but one that is concerned with certain activities that are detrimental to individuals and by extension populations, whatever side you may be on. I relay those experiences as I have them. Some say I should take a side and stand for something. I say I don’t give a damn what you think I should do. Standing for something doesn’t by default mean you must oppose something.
People are people and all can be good and bad and all are good or bad in different situations. Yes, there is a war going on but the only things I want to destroy are my own assumptions.
There are no angels here.
